Coralia
A 48-metre dive phinisi for 16 guests across 8 cabins.
About Coralia
Coralia Liveaboard is a 48-metre traditional wooden phinisi operated by PT Ocean Cruises Indonesia and purpose-built as a luxury dive vessel. With eight air-conditioned ensuite cabins, she carries just 16 guests looked after by 20 crew and 2 cruise directors, so the boat never feels crowded.
The Raja Ampat cruise departs from and returns to Sorong. The programme works through the Dampier Strait, the Fam Islands, Wofoh, Aljui Bay, Kawe, Wayag, Yeben and Yangeffo — the heart of the Coral Triangle, which many scientists believe holds the highest coral and fish diversity on earth. Up to four guided dives a day are offered, including a night dive, with a maximum of four guests per dive guide.
Diving facilities include two Bauer compressors with an NRC nitrox membrane, two 8-metre fibreglass tenders, a spacious dive deck, and a camera room with individual workstations and charging points for underwater photographers. Above water there is an air-conditioned lounge and restaurant on the main deck, a sky deck for sunsets, a spa, a boutique, and complimentary satellite WiFi.
Dive equipment includes 45 x 11 litre, 6 x 15 litre and 2 x 8 litre cylinders, two Bauer compressors with an NRC nitrox membrane, and two 8-metre fibreglass dinghies, each with two Yamaha 40 HP outboard engines. The vessel carries 10,000 litres of fresh water with a desalination unit rated at 8,000 litres per day, a 12,000 litre fuel tank, and twin generators supplying 220 V. Safety equipment comprises 4 x 15 person inflatable life rafts, life jackets, buoys, safety flares, smoke detectors in each cabin, fire extinguishers, first aid equipment, emergency oxygen, an AED and a Nautilus LifeLine.
